The Very Small Quantity Generator (VSQG) Program is designed for entities that generate very little hazardous waste. This program provides an inexpensive hazardous waste disposal option for businesses, schools, non-profits, and other entities in San Mateo County.
To qualify as a VSQG, an entity must generate less than 100 kilograms (about 220 pounds or 27 gallons) of hazardous waste per month. Typical VSQG businesses include:
