4. Note that the goal is not to move the red crosshair on top of the blue one, but to physically move your mouse the target distance and observe where the red crosshair ends up.

It's essential to keep the following in mind when using the DPI Analyzer:

• All acceleration must be turned off, both in your mouse driver and in Windows.
• Your mouse pointer must stay within the confines of the monitor(s).
• The browser zoom-level and Windows Display Scale must be set to 100%.
